If you had told me 7 years ago that at the age of 26 I would be living in the North-East as the spouse of a newbie resident doctor and stay at home mom to an enthusiastic 2-year-old I probably would have panicked. Panic would have been the response, not because the lifestyle would be undesirable, but because it simply wasn’t the direction I was heading at that point in my life. The plans I once had, the goals I once aspired to achieve, and the life story I had envisioned are under major revision by my author-God. But it’s all beautifully different because my Father has been mercifully and gently revising those once near-sighted plans to fit into His grander more beautiful one. I candidly blog to record my journey from the blind self-director to the seeing walk-on-cast-member in Jesus’ story. My part includes so much, and each part is sacred before God. Even my obsession with laundry, scones, hiking, organizing, books, photography, and crafting are becoming a beautiful part of this life I’m living. I hope you’ll join me as I learn to see my life the way God does, and that you’ll share your part in this story with me as well. Welcome to my revisionary life!
